WRAPPING CHRISTMAS PRESENTS WITH THE DOGS
It’s that time of the year again. A time of year that I dread. Trying to get the Christmas presents wrapped. It’s a big ordeal around here. I gather up all the Christmas wrapping, the tags, bags, scissors and tape.
When I start wrapping, I have to sit on the floor. Then I get the tape out of Tinky’s mouth and remove the scissors from Sissy’s mouth.
I open the box to put the present in, then I have to take Tinky out of the box. In order to put the present in the box, I have to take the present out of Jonesy’s mouth. Then I put the present in the box after taking Tinky back out of the box.
I find the scissors under Sissy and take the tape away from Jonesy. I unroll the paper and cut it being careful not to cut Tinky’s foot or Jonesy’s nose that is geting in the way as they “help”. Then I have to take Tinky off the box again so I can wrap it.
I wrap the box and quickly tape one spot before taking scissors from Sissy. I have to fend off Jonesy from taking the tape again and I have to take the bow from Sissy. I finally find the pen in Jonesy’s mouth, and fend off the dogs from licking my face.
I take the now soggy bow and tape it on the present since the sticky stuff no longer sticks. Now I grab the present before Sissy opens it and I put it away. That’s one present down and many more to go.
I clean up the mess the dogs made playing with remnants of wrapping paper. I then put away the rest of the wrapping supplies and tell them what good helpers they are.

You are a much braver person than I am. The presents are wrapped well away from my dogs or else there probably wouldn’t be anything left to wrap the present in.

I love this! I absolutely love your site. Going to take awhile to read and post. Thanks for your concern for Patch. I will find out something in the next day or two. They better have some results and info, after $289 of tests-lol. Money doesn’t mean a thing when it comes to him. Anywho-you have 3 chihuahuas…My aunt has 4 yorkies-they are too funny. I’ll tell you more about them sometime. Aain-love it here.
WOOF!

Wow, you’ve given me a lot of ideas on how to make wrapping presents more exciting for my owner! Last year was my first Christmas so I just sat back to see what it was all about. This year I can really get into the spirit!
